Control Panel beeped and blinked several times, as if shorting out, now it does not respond as if there is no power. Checked power, and found that the unit does have power. I don't think it is a fuse, because it would've lost power without the shorting effect? The door switch appears to be working properly.

Check the thermal fuse on the main board if you have continuity through that and your door switches (both) test good. Turn your power off at breaker then remove ribbon cable from touchpad to main control board. Turn breaker back on and close door you should hear a drain pump come on within a few minutes if you don't then your main board is more then likely bad and if the drain pump does come on try replacing the touchpad itself. Good luck
