Hi over the weekend I cleaned out the dishwasher and was wondering can the rubber check valve be installed the wrong side? If yes would that cause the water to stay in the dishwasher? I can hit the drain button and the water does drain into the disposal and I can see if drain from the air valve. What could be the issue I'm having? Thanks.

A model number may help others help you Find your model number - AppliancePartsPros.comcan the rubber check valve be installed the wrong side? Not sure what you mean by wrong side. If yes would that cause the water to stay in the dishwasher? If installed backwards it could cause a drain problem. I can hit the drain button and the water does drain into the disposal If the valve was back ward then it would never drain as the check valve would act as a plug though I cannot be 100% sure of this without more info. and I can see if drain from the air valve. Sorry but again I do not understand the above |
