Last week I repaired the drain pump on my washing machine to correct a "it does drain problem." The repair went fine and the machine works perfectly again except it now has a slow leak at the rate of a few cups of water over night.(I had turned the water off and disconnected the water.)
The source is difficult to find because of the leak it so slow. I suspect that the cause of the leak might be a poor seal around the input pipe of the drain pump. Before I dissembled washer this junction was coated in what appeared to be latex which was removed when I removed the pump. This compound must have improved the seal between the hose of the pump.
Does any one know where I can find more of the sealing compound?

Provide a better model number that's not complete usually there's alot more digits on those models like 13 digits

I gave the whole machine a good looking over last night and only relevant text on the machine is "Haier HLP021 WM".
I was also able to confirm that the leak is defiantly coming from the junction of the pump inlet pipe and the hose.
