help! my quest to fix my Samsung fridge. It all started out when the freezer stop making ice and stop being cold all together. i thought it was the compressor at first, but being me I started hitting the main control board and it would start the compressor. i hear it goes on and things started to work again. i ordered a new control board from ************************.com and replaced it. everything worked out, i don't need to kick start the compressor no more and ice maker working, freezing returned to normal operation. Then my trouble started, the compressor its always loud humming sound, with pitch variation. Also the fridge side stop being cold. I took it upon myself to research the internet, found manual defrost, tried but did not work. I took the fridge apart and saw ice build up on the evap fan which prevented it from circulating air. I removed the ice and things would work again. i think i have a defrost problem, help. i'm not too familiar with fridge repair better with computer repair. i can see the ice build up is massive but when i try manual defrost, i nothing is melting away.
