KUDS02SRSS dishwasher. I'm stumped. About 5 weeks ago the washer stopped working. I ordered a new board and installed. The washer worked, but then the soap dispenser did not work. I got help from rep Kecia, and it was decided that because the dispenser worked up until the board failed, the new board must be faulty. Appliance Parts replaced the board. The dispenser still did not work. I ordered a new dispenser but it doesn't open with either board either. I've checked continuity of the wiring and from what I know about the multi-meter there is continuity (it buzzes). I've run the service diagnostics cycle and the dispenser does not open. There are no dishes or anything in the washer. There is nothing flashing or blinking. Where do I go from here? Do I have the correct board?

On another issue, prior to the board and dispenser problem, there used to be an energetic drying fan and lots of steam coming out the vent. I haven't heard the fan in awhile and no steam comes out of the vent, and the dishes are not as dry as when the fan worked. Do you have any information about the drying fan. I saw comments about the fan for this model in only one online discussions but cannot find it now.

Sounds like you ordered the wrong control board, didn't connect all the connectors in the right spots, or have a bad dispensor...........Continuity test the dispensor should read 0.00.........if not you have a bad dispensor if you do dispensor is ok........take the front panel off and run the unit through diagnostics on your tech sheet and take a volt meter and make sure you get 120v at the soap dispensor during the cycles test........ kitchen aid dishwasher soap dispenser not opening - YouTube
