I dont even know where to start so here it goes.

It seems like every summer (souther UT 100+ July and Aug) and at least a few times in the winter my fridge gets warm and it becasue the coils in the freezer are frozen solid (pics attached).

Now since the issue is hit and miss Im at a loss on what to do next. I read the big thread about what to do and still no luck. I'm no pro with an ohm meter either but do have one. I'm now a pro at taking this damn thing apart though.

So question is where should I start, or what should I replace first and go from there.

I don't want to litter the thread with huge pics but i do have them, tons of them, if needed.

Thanks everyone....

You have a defrost issue your timer or bimetal or heater is acting up it looks like but you have to diagnose it yourself or call in a tech. Watch some youtube video's and buy a multimeter and you'll figure it out.

ok so I took a meter to the heater, worked just fine. also tested the thermostat and that reacted to hot and cold. Tested the little white thing and it also tested when I changed the temp. Fan is running just fine.

What am I missing. Seems like it just freezes up but never thaws but the parts seem to be working. This thing is ticking me off.

Where is that?

I checked everything behind the freezer cover(wall) and all checked out good. I noticed today when I push on the cover a little I can hear frost build up already, less than 24hr later.
