I have model GU980SCG2 and just replaced the motor/pump (#W10428168). I hooked everything back up but it will not run more than about 5 secs without shutting off. I hit the quick wash button and it fills with water. Then it turns water off and the the motor starts and runs for about 5 secs and then clicks off. The washing light remains lite. Then it goes about 3 minutes and trys again. Same thing happens. The timing is exact every time. I timed it during 2 cycles of doing this. The motor ran for 4.7 secs and 4.8 secs. The time between running was 3:09 and 3:10 secs. It is like something is telling the motor to stop. Also when I try to drain the machine the drain/cancel light comes on and the motor makes a humming noise like it wants to start but can't. Then shortly after it makes a click and goes quite. The drain/cancel light remains lite.
It seams like the motor want starts to run so I don't see it being the new motor. Any suggestions for me to look at or test?
thanks,
Greg

Hook up your voltmeter to the motors your testing and if you see it drop from 120v to nothing then it's a problem with your harness and or wire connections or the main board..........also check your motors (pump and sump) for continuity, you may have gotten a bad part perhaps.
