Looking for assistance with my dryer with Code F01 appearing on the control panel. I have tried setting the breaker off for 15 minutes and trying again. The panel lights up regardless of setting(s) but when you press start the sensing light goes on and then F01 appears. I just spent $144 to have this dryer serviced on Monday to replace a faulty idler pulley. Dryer used twice since. Thanks for your expertise!

I'd call the service guy and have them come back sounds like something they may have done......That code is typically a main control to motor issue........Check your tech sheet under the touchpad or under the lid of the unit or check your manual f01 codes aren't all the same for every unit most units are unique in codes. Good luck

Thanks for the suggestions. I will check the tech sheet first and call the company back if we are unable to figure it out. This is what I get for calling for a repair - should have taken the time off work to fix it myself like I usually do. :)

Actually you were better off calling a repairman you just called the wrong repairman perhaps. That model whirlpool is known for being a piece of junk unfortunately so you may start to pull your hair out trying to troubleshoot it lol. Good luck
