The oven will come on and heat to the selected temperature, but once it reaches the temperature it turns off and the temperature starts dropping, in other words it will not maintain the temperature after reaching it after the first time. I put an ohm meter on the oven sensor and I think it was reading about 1,115 ohms which I think is in the operating range. I'll probably check that again to verify this. If this is correct, what should be checked next? I'm thinking it's the control board since the igniter works, it does reach the selected temperature but then stops. Any help would be appreciated.

Check your voltage going down to your ignitor and make sure you have 120v...if you don't have have a bad main board or a loose connection from the main board .......if you do have 120v, inspect the ignitor if it's ashy or white looking at all replace it it's either bad or going bad that can cause the problem your discussing if an ignitor is weak it may start initially to turn on but after it preheats it won't continue baking unless that ignitor is pulling 3 amps or more..........Check the temp probe if you want at 350 degrees should be around 16k ohms...........if it's not you have a bad temp probe.... Thanks for the quick reply.
1. How do I check for 120v at the igniter? Do I disconnect the electrical connection on the igniter and the turn the oven temp on at the control board to see if the harness now has 120v at the igniter connection?
2. How do I test to see if the igniter is pulling 3 amps or more?
3. How do I check the temp probe ohms at 350 degrees?
Is there a write up or video available on the site to show how to check these?

Disconnect ignitor should have a connection or lead to the safety valve you'll have to find it and yes turn the oven setting onto bake to test for 120v....
-you'd need an amp clamp multimeter to test the ignitor for amp draw....
-remove the back of the oven heat the oven up to 350 and disconnect the temp probe be very careful testing it with the back open it can be dangerous should be around 16

Thanks for the help, it turned out to be a defective oven igniter. I just installed the new igniter, it's working now and so far holding the set temperature.
