I have an old admiril fridge, and I was cleaning the coils and compressor.

I noticed that the compressor had four connections to the coils.

One circuit I traced to the top of the coils and traced it back into the compressor.

Sounds about right.

The other connection, I traced from one side and it seems to make up a majority of the coils, but when I looked at where the circuit ended, it seems like it goes to a temperature sensor, and the out put of the sensor is a cut pipe (sealed) and another cut pipe that flows into the compressor.

Needless to say these two cut pipes do not connect, and this second circuit seems to make no sense to me at all. This second circuit does get a little warm, although not the screaming hot that comes from the outpipe from the first.

Is this fridge broken? Is it normal to have a cut pipe section?

I was able to get to your images.
The first one looked normal to me.
I could not tell anything from the seconds one. The resolution was not good enough to let me expand it.

I do not know, you did not say that there was a problem with it.
