Recently, the outer glass door to my 12 year old Avanti 20" gas range blew out while I was cooking. We had guests for dinner at the time, so it was pretty dramatic! Fortunately, dinner was cooked. Anyway, I would like to replace the door, since the stove is squeezed into a tiny space in a New York City kitchen and it will be difficult to replace. The model has been discontinued and I can't find a replacement door anywhere in my internet searches. The Avanti people have been unhelpful. Any ideas about where I might look or if a door from another model might fit? Thanks for any help!
