We've had it for 6 years. The bottom hinge keeps coming unscrewed from the fridge. We've rescrewed it in over and over again and it seems the metal around the hole is being stripped away because we have to use bigger and bigger screws. The holes in the hinge are normal sized but the holes in the frame itself is wayyyy to big. We have 2 small boys ages 5 and 3 and that stupid thing keeps falling off! We can't afford to buy a new fridge. Does anybody have any ideas on how we can fix it???

OK, when you say you've used 'bigger screws' tells me you may have damaged the original thread that the original screw used... It may be best to use machine screws with locking nuts to hold the hinge in place.. If necessary, drill the original holes to accommodate the machine screws... Use 1/4" screws, that's plenty big enough to handle the load...

The best solution is mounting a 1/4 inch thick plate under the door. I once used part of a water valve bracket for this. You will need to drill all the necessary holes, good luck.
