The whirlpool dishwasher has an adjustable upper rack, and one of the components broke. The new pieces arrived today, but I can't get one of the pieces off the rack. I don't want to break it and have to purchase a whole new rack. How do I get this thing off? Its the housing where the adjuster knob fits into. I'm replacing 3 pieces, the adjuster arm, the larger piece which helps the rack adjust from high to low and the flat plastic piece which keeps it all together.

Thanks.

Maybe the break down diagram for the upper dish rack will help you.
