Dishwasher lights do not turn on and will not start

None of the lights on my dishwasher will turn on and therefore my dishwasher will not operate. There were a few times before this occurred that I started the dishwasher, and later when I would open it thinking it was finished, it never completed the wash cycle. Can you tell me what the problem might be? I really don't want to call a repair service if I don't have to.

check for 120v at the main board behind the keypad. Continuity test your door switches and thermal fuse and check them from 120v also......

you need to look for the wirings too it seems like they are out of order better to check them now...
