Hello All,
The lower element of our "vintage" (1986) Thermador MCM-255 combination oven just stopped working. I noticed the upper (broiler) element gets warm (even though its on "bake" and not "broil") and eventually the oven will get up to 140 degrees or so but the lower element is cold regardless of the temperature setting.
We are 6 months to a year away from an entire kitchen overhaul so I was hoping to keep this oven going a little while longer.
I was first going to remove the element and check it for continuity with an ohm meter. If it tests out as no good is a replacement element still available for this oven?
If by chance the element tests out okay what would be my next step in troubleshooting it?
Thanks in advance for your advice.

Thanks for the link, that looks like the right one. Ohm meter shows no continuity. I just ordered this one. Thanks for the help!
