My washer recently started leaking water. I found that when a new wash cycle was started that the tub filled with water and instead of agitating that it went to a spin cycle which threw water out of the tub onto the floor. I have tried replacing the control board. Now, with new wash cycle, it fills tub with water normal, but again spins tub when the lid is closed. I found that if I have a wash tub full of water; open the lid, unplug the unit, then reboot the washer(plugging in and opening/closing the lid 5 times) that it agitates normally and completes a normal wash cycle. It cycles through the normal wash, rinse, drain and spin cycles. When all cycles are completed and lights on panel go out, the unit then continues to spin at a slow speed. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Find your tech sheet usually under console for instructions.......Try checking the water pressure switch, the pressure switch tube (blow it out and make sure there's no detergent in it) and the hole on the tub it attached to make sure you have no detergent buildup at that connection. Sounds like you have a possessed machine try an exorcism if that doesn't work.
