I was wondering if anyone has experience on the location of the 5W resistor for this particular dryer is? My dryer heats fine but the timer advances to near the finish and then stop moving forward while the dryer continues to run. I can manually move it to stop and the door switches works fine as well. From I have read it has to do with the 5W resistor like this one:

But I can't find it by opening the instrument panel. Is this part usually reside inside the main chassis of the dryer?

I also included the wiring diagram.

Hi, thank you for the quick reply. I have been searching on the web and it appears to be a similar problem like the one described here except I don't see that black circular resistor:

However for the life of mine I can't a similar part in my dryer.

And the problem does happen in auto dry mode as well as timed mode in that it will run until the end but doesn't stop.
