A few months back my LG gas dryer stopped heating. It would, SOMETIMES, and i would always be excited but eventually it got to the point where it stopped heating for good. I looked up some things and purchased a new igniter and thermostat. I put these in expecting results and nothing. Still doesnt heat. I then figured out how to press the diagnostic button and it said 0% for gas. I tried turning the gas valve on the wall back and forth and nothing either way. Even when i disconnected the dryer when putting the parts in I didnt smell gas. Could it not be heating because theres no gas getting to the dryer? Or maybe its the gas intake inside the machine? clogged? I dont know? Im a girl so doing all this really isnt my cup of tea but I have been air drying my clothes for the past three months and Im sick of it. Do I need a plumber for the gas line or is it another part in the dryer? Plumbers have a service call fee and Im just at a loss. Any advice would be very appreciated. Thank you.
