Hi,

After a power outage, our Frigidaire drop in range top (fpec3085ksa) no longer functions, completely dead.

I have checked the breakers and all wiring to the unit which is all good. I am presuming that one of the two circuit boards has been fried. Can anyone tell me which of the two it is likely to be (the large or the small board) and how I can confirm this. Also, what sort of surge protector can I use to stop this problem in future, is there something I add to the circuit or at the fuse panel.

Thanks.

(sorry if this has already been covered)
