My Harmony dryer suddenly quit drying clothes in a timely manner but would still tumble and heat half-heartedly. After three weeks of repair attempts (by the GE repair guy), here is what has been done:

*New thermistor
*New inverter board (the computer board that runs the unit)
*New blower motor
*ALL venting cleaned by me--so I know it is PERFECTLY clear to the outside and all the way to the back of the unit; also, new venting replaced behind dryer; air blows all the way through to the outside vent

Still won't dry. Today the repair guy called tech support at GE, and they told him to disconnect the dryer from the venting. Now it is drying perfectly--while blowing hot air and moisture all over the laundry room.

This dryer always worked well..so what gives? Why would it act up like this? Tech support was not able to give him an answer; he doesn't have an answer. So what do I do?? Thanks much.
