The washer slowly leaks and drips water from the fill spout into the inside of the tub when off. I currently have to turn the cold water outlet off when not in use to keep the washer from waisting water. Any ideas on how to fix this? Thanks.

You will need to replace the water inlet valve assembly.

I have the same problem when asher not in use, water id filling up and I'm concerned that I'm going to come home to water everywhere.

The other day, got home form work, I had some water on the carpert but it seemed to be coming form the Hot Water Heater area. The flow had stopped which seemed strange as my my neighbors hot water heater ran for about 5 hours before someone came home to turnthe main off.

I turned off the main valve and closed the cold water inlet to the washer when i noticed yesterday that water was leaking ehen off. Even unplugged this morning. If all sources are off, how could it still leak?

Thanks for any insight!
