A flexible metal ring has become detached from the rubber seal on the door. I think it is called the retainer spring. How do I reattach it to the rubber seal? Where could I find a diagram showing me how to do so? Thanks for any suggestions.

While one of you holds the boot, try to get the wire spring around it and into the groove. Unfortunately this is easier said then done, so you will need plenty of patience, a few cuss words and some luck.
