The water in the door freezes over night after thawing with a hair dryer.
The dispenser has had a heater added to the fill tube just behind the lever about a year ago and it has worked fine, till lately. Could the heater be bad this soon? The heater added was one GE tech line recommended.

It is probably frozen further down. Check your freezer temperature, if below 5 degrees adjust the control to get it higher.
You may have to transfer the food to another fridg and turn it off till it thaws out.
