Approx. 1 year ago, had problem with buttons on control panel all not coming on. Dis-assembled door and cleaned control panel ribbon, and buttons worked till now. Problem re-started about three weeks ago with not all buttons lighting, and having to press START/cancel button hard to make it work. Today, "Normal Wash" button was only one that would light, and dishwasher would not start. First tried unplugging unit to re-set. Then, tried re-cleaning ribbon contacts and door switch contacts. Now, nothing will light. Suspect installing a new control panel with ribbon may fix this. Wonder if I'm missing something or is it time for a new dishwasher?
Viewing control panel ribbon from where it goes into back of control panel, I notice several of the gold colored metal strips inside the plastic ribbon are black as they go into back of control panel, as if they have burned.
Thank you.

Here are your parts
http://www.appliancepartspros.c...ch.aspx?model=MDBTT60AWW

See the attachment for the tech sheet.

You could check the control panel/keypad outputs with a meter.
If it checks out OK then odds are that it is a control board problem.

You are welcome.

And thanks for getting back to us. Now when others search for a similar problem they will see what actually worked instead of just suggestions about what could be the cause.
