I have a Kenmore 790.93751104 electric range. After one of the burners arced the element on light remains on. I replaced the burner as well as the burner receptacle. The element on light remains on and the burner still doesn't work. I am trying to decide if I should have a repair person come out or replace the whole range.

Hi.

According the information your provided the infinite switch is defective too. There are three different type switches used in your range. Please, describe which one is it. Best if the picture could be posted.

Simon.
