I have a Jenn-Air wall oven, May tag model WG24000W. I recently replaced the gas valve due to an issue. I took a photo of the gas valve wiring, red and a white wire, to reference their position on the valve. My nephew was playing with my phone and deleted the photo. I believe that the red wire was positioned to the front of the valve (closest to door) and the white to the rear of the oven. The oven lights with the wiring in either position. Any info on correct positioning of wiring? The wiring diagram is not any help as it just shows white and red entering valve but no orientation.

Hi.

On the two wire, 120 Volts AC gas valve it doesn't matter which wire goes where. So don't punish your nephew.
