Rank:: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 5/20/2013(UTC) Posts: 2		My fridge stopped cooling.. I opened the freezer today and there is ice on the back panel. The thermostat is reading about 45 in the freezer and about 65/70 in the fridge. I replaced the defrost timer awhile back so that's brand new. Any ideas what could be the problem?

Rank: Advanced Member Groups: APP Team Joined: 2/12/2012(UTC) Posts: 5,556		hi. Open the rear evaporator cover in the freezer and locate the defrost thermostat. Most likely it's open. Use the multimeter to check it for continuity. Remember it should be ice cold when checked. Replace it if there is no continuity. The defrost thermostat Part number: 5303918214 Post the results. Simon.
