During conversion from LP back to Nat Gas items 16 & 17 & 18 (see attachment) were accidentally removed then reinstalled. The items are called:
16 - Limiter
17 - Regulator
18 - Spring
Is it possible that item 17, if not screwed in to the correct depth could affect gas flow to the burner? Either too low or (worse) too high flame?
In my case, it is taking too long for the clothes to dry. The tub never really gets very warm.
I have not yet had a chance to observe if the valve is short-cycling or staying on but just very low flame.
