Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 5/6/2013(UTC) Posts: 4		anyone have any ideas refrigerator defrost timer has been replaced it will work for maybe a week then things start to thaw checked thermostat has power going thru switch but nothing to compressor evap and cond fans work defrost heater works any ideas would be helpful thanks

I am assuming by thermostat you mean the main temperature control thermostat and not the defrost thermostat. How did you measure/determine there was power going through the thermostat? Are the evaporator coils iced/frosted over to the point that the evaporator fan cannot pull air through them?

Are the evaporator coils iced/frosted over to the point that the evaporator fan cannot pull air through them? it is the main temp control have already replaced defrost thermostat would check compressor and no voltage so started taking control panel off to check voltage at main thermostat and compressor kicks on evap coils are frost free and defrost heater is working
