A couple weeks ago I accidently washed very large load on small load setting.
Since then when the washer gets to the part of spinning it will NOT spin and makes a horrible load noise (makes me think I possibly broke the belt) BUT also once the load is finished washing the clothes are still soaked completely as if it is not spinning or draining completely either. My clothes have a small stinch to them which kind of makes me wonder if the dirty water is still in the washing machine from previous loads....Not sure what to do if it is time to get a new washer or if it is a simple inexpensive fix? No I have not begun to take it apart to look at it due to I am not sure what to look for and worried I will make some thing worse. :( Help please!

Hard to tell, not using enough water should not have damaged things.

Take off the front cover by inserting a thin blade screw driver in the gap between the top and front near the edges. Then look for something caught in the pump or something caught between the tub and basket. The belt is probably ok since it will agitate, but see if the main pulley will turn by hand.
