Have a Kenmore 500 dryer that is all of sudden not drying the clothes. Clothes are very warm, but very damp. The room where the dryer is located is actually far more humid than normal (since the problem started). It is a very noticeable difference. Heating element works fine (checked it out already with ohm meter) and also completely cleaned all vents on dryer and through my home to outside vent. What else would cause the the clothes to remain very damp, besides a clogged vent? Need help! Thank you.

A model number may help others help you.
Find your model number - AppliancePartsPros.com

Did you also check that the outside vent louvers/door opens correctly when the dryer is on.

Check/clean your blower wheel.

Check the seals inside the unit re: the drum felts etc.
