My two-door GE - Arctica Profile (Model: PS123NGNA BB) refrigerator appears to be leaking small amounts of water (about 1-2oz) every 3-4 days. The water supply and the ice making capability have been disconnected for over a year. Water appears in front of the refrigerator right below the freezer side (left side). I'm not 100% sure, but my guess is that water comes out during the defrost cycle? I would appreciate any suggestions. I'm very worried the water will damage the expensive hardwood floors.

Hi.

Pull out the freezer bottom drawer and check if there is an ice buld up at the bottom. If it is then the condensation drain is clogged and frozen.
Use hot water, blow dryer, turkey baster.
If you can - use compressed air. Take it easy on the air pressure.

Here are the breakdown diagrams and http://www.appliancepartspros.c...-for-ge-psi23ngnabb.html

Post the results.

Thank you Simon. I checked and I can see ice buildup at the bottom of the freezer. Where will I find the condensation drain? Your suggestion makes sense because when we lost power for several days due to a storm and the water dripping had stopped for a little while (suspect until the drain clogged again). So, assuming the drain continues to get clogged after it has been cleaned, what would the root cause be for the clogged drain?

You will need to remove the rear panel in the freezer for better access to the drain. It's in the center of the drain pan under the heater.
After you clean it set the freezer temperature to 0*F.
