Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 4/8/2013(UTC) Posts: 2		Hi, I have a bad drain pump on my washing machine. When I was checking the voltage to the drain pump, I accidentally touched the two leads causing a flash. This damaged the power connector that goes to the drain pump. Does anyone have a clue how I can get the metal leads out or where I can find a replacement connector? It may be easier if I just cut the wire and put on a new connector. I have a few images below: I appreciate any help. Thanks in advance. Edit: Oops, I just realized that was the timer part in the subject line. The actual part number for this drain pump is 137108100. If the size of the connector is standard you might be able to use some crimp connectors and cut off the damaged connector.

I ended up cutting the connector off and crimping on two insulated spade connectors. It worked out great.
