I read Gene's reply to the same problem on other GE models; ie checking for an LED at the motor and or checking for a fuse down there, but don't see either one. The washer fills and drains OK but there is no movement of the motor during agitate or spin cycles. What's my next move? Electronics is not my forte. thx, Vince

Your model doesn't have the LED or fuse. Check continuity of the lid switch.

well you were absolutely right- I pulled off the top piece to expose the lid switch mechanism. I used a small jump wire to bypass the switch and presto, the spin mechanism came to life:) On my way down to the appliance store to buy a new switch. thank you very much- Vince
