I have a newer model dishwasher, it fills with water, heats the water and then does nothing. Any idea on what the problem is with my dishwasher? I found a repair person on Craigslist that said it was the motor - he ran diagnostics and got a return code of 8-2, he said it's missing the tech error code schematic on the kick plate, I did a chat with a the part vendor and they said the schematic is near the panel inside the door? Can anyone tell me what 8-2 is and what needs to be replaced? Thank you.

Hi, I got a copy of the tech form and ran the diagnostics - select any buttons in the follow sequence for less than 1 sec: 123123123, diagnostics kicked in ran through some cycles and lights flashed. Can anyone give me a quick diagnostics 101 on how to read the flashing lights? Thanks!

That pdf you posted is service sheet for the dishwasher. I believe the explanation on how to read the diagnostic codes is in the upper left hand corner of page 2? Looks like the error code is flashed with the Clean LED?
