AR microwave exhibiting symptoms of bad diode-no heat and humming noise. How do I get to the diode and how to replace. Awaiting a reply.

hello,

You have to remove the microwave from the wall. Remove the outer case to gain access to the HV diode. Discharge the capacitor by short-circuit the connection of the capacitor against the chassis with the use of an insulated screwdriver.

- The HV diode Part number: 5304467670
