 I've not ever done a flush of the system since purchased, however I have cleaned the condenser coils a number of times. The system started making much smaller ice cudes and very few of them, so I flushed the system with Nu Chal, as instructed by the manual. Now the system isn't making any ice. What would be the things to check to find the problem? Thank you in advance for your efforts.

What is the recommended way of checking the water pump? Turn it on and listen for a hum?

Hi.
The best way is to check if the water is flowing down the evaporator. If it's not then you need to check if there is water at the pump base. If water is there , check if the pump is getting 120VAC (use a multimeter).
Simon.
