No LED's light up in my Quiet Partner II, despite being connected to power. No fuses are tripped in the fuse box. It is about 8 years old. It washed okay before it stopped working altogether. It made quite a racket as it got older, due to the plastic parts in the motor getting bent out of shape. I don't know if I should call it dead, or if there are any simple solutions to try first.

Hi Robert,

You may want to start the troubleshooting from verifying 120 VAC to the dishwasher. "No fuses are tripped in the fuse box" does not prove it. Plug something else in this outlet to see if it works.

If there is proper voltage, remove the toe panel and check the power cord connection to the dishwasher at the dishwasher junction box.

The next step is to check the thermal fuse (#6 at the diagram) for continuity. Replace the thermal fuse if it's open. Install all parts included in the kit.

Hi.

Make sure that the wires are connected in the junction box behind the kick panel on the right.
If there is no problems there, go to the control panel and check if the thermal fuse (mounted on the side of the control board) is open.
