I have a Whirlpool Senseon (Model #GEW9868KQ3) Electric Dryer, the display does not show anything, and a display test will not work either. The dryer is getting power and the breaker is good. The dryer worked perfectly fine up-til now, it just will not respond to any key presses. The dryer door switch doesn't show damage, and the lint trap has been cleaned as well as the exhaust.
I used a Voltage Test pen to see if power was being supplied to the power housing and from the outlet, and it had indicated there was a voltage in both areas.
I know there are thermal fuses, as well as many other fuses in this particular dryer, but I am not sure how to get to them. I am also hoping that its not a bad control panel, I am trying to save as much money as possible... thus me being here.

Hello, Unplug the dryer. Remove the terminal block cover and inspect the power cord connections to the terminal block. Plug the dryer and check for 120 VAC between the Black wire & the White wire and the Red wire & the White wire. Check for 240 VAC between the Black wire & the Red wire. If the readings are correct, check for 120 VAC between the wires connected to the terminals P1-2 & P1-5 at the control board. If the reading is correct, replace the control board. - The control board Part number: 8566150

I had the same symptoms and did get a replacement control board. When I plugged it in of course it displayed 'PF' and I selected STOP to clear that out. I tried to use some of the control buttons and it was intermittent in responsiveness. Eventually the display went out again and the dryer is just like before, no responsiveness at all. Any other ideas or suggestions to try?
