During the self clean cycle I got a F1 fault. I changed the touchpad/clock unit and I still have the fault. What else could be the problem.

The first thing I would check is the resistance across the oven temperature sensor. It suppose to be about 1100 Ohms at the room temperature. If the reading is incorrect, replace the oven sensor. Also check the oven sensor wire harness for poor connections. I would recommend to eliminate the oven sensor plug, using a wire nuts instead. - The part number for the oven temperature sensor AP204836 - Here are the break down diagrams for the Maytag Range Model MER5770AAWGene.

Hello Gene, I ohmed out my oven sensor and I have 3,600 ohms of resistance. I placed an order for a new one. Thank You, Rick
