A few months ago our dishwasher started stopping within about 15 minutes of starting the wash cycle - we'd get the standard LED light flashing. I checked the codes and it appeared it was not detecting a change in water temperature, and that's why it stopped. To test that, I put in about a cup of very hot water after about 12 minutes of starting the cycle and the dishwasher would continue on. We did this for a couple months but it seemed like the dishes weren't getting that clean and we had black mold/fungus starting to build inside around the soap dispenser.

I figured we needed a new heating element and ordered one. Today I pulled the old one out and decided to perform a resistance test and it appears to be just fine - should have done that before ordering one!:mad: Same resistance as the brand new one (about 19 ohms). So now what? Is there a way to test connections to the heating element or test to see if the control panel is bad? Or is it something else?
