I have done some trouble shooting but no success.

1) I put a chopstick into the supply line to see if I could determine if it was frozen shut. the chopstick went in 7" with no obstruction.
2) I manually put water into the ice maker to see if it would freeze and then dump the ice. The ice froze, but it didn't dump out the ice.
3) I made sure the ice maker was on. But, there is no green light. should I see a green light or something?
4) I checked the overflow arm and it appears to be in the down position.

Is there any other troubleshooting that I should do besides replacing the ice maker itself?

Thanks

Hello,

You don't need anymore tests. This test points to a bad ice maker.

Thanks Gene. That makese sense. I was wondering about a "green" powerl light. since I don't see one. does that mean I may not be getting electricity to the ice maker? or, a fuse in the freezer could be burned out? Is there a way to test this? Thanks!

You are welcome. There are no any fuses and I'm not sure about green lights because I don't know which ice maker is currently in your refrigerator.
