MANY of the Bosch dishwashers have a recall on the Control Module's that Bosch pays to have repaired. Mine is...repairman is coming next Monday!

The link to check:

Bosch Home Appliances

I realize that this could be an older thread, but *I* came across it searching for answers, so others may too. =)

I can easily get the door and panel off my Bosch dishwasher but cannot budge the plastic module housing, nor can I separate the stainless steel outer fascia from the inner piece (assuming that is necessary).

I have full access to the back of the module but can't get it out to swap for the new one!

Any suggestions?

Gene, Thanks so much for the response! It is SHU6805UC/U12. It's a stainless model and I got the door cover and upper panel off no problem.

On the back side of the upper panel that houses the module I can easily see and access the rear of the module and the wires/plugs... however I cannot figure out how to get the darned module out!

Do I need to separate the the stainless outer fascia of that upper panel from the piece holding the module, door handle mechanism, etc.?

If so, how? And does the module comes out the front?

Any guidance will be GREATLY appreciated! All the videos I've seen are for other units that don't look at all like mine.

P.S. just FYI the reason for all this: it freezes at 1 minute and never drains. I bought a new module online and hope to change it myself.

Thanks, I saw that. But... I was unable to locate "the four locking tabs" you referred to. I will look again.
