My GE Dryer is making a squealing noise and I believe it's coming from the bearing slides. I have not disassembled it yet to verify that. How do I remove the front of the dryer to access the bearing slides?
Thanks for your help, John

Hi. To disassemble the dryer open the door and look up. There are two screws holding the top to the front panel.Remove those screws and lift the top. Next take out screws holding the front and remove it too. The squealing noise most likely is coming from the rear drum bearing Part number: WE25M40

Simon,
Thanks for the information on how to disassemble my dryer. The problem turned out to be 3 of the 4 slides were worn out and the support that holds them was damaged. I replaced all of them and the noise went away.
Thanks again for the advice.
