We have a Cuisinart microwave oven, model CMW-200, there is a problem that seems to be the touchpad membrane. The oven will sometimes work and other times will only accept an input from one key, if you keep hitting that key and others it will eventually work for one or two cycles. Then it gives a beep and locks up again. Sometimes unplugging helps, but not always. The oven is where I work, not in the US, and we have had no luck with the local person who is supposed to be the Cuisinart warranty repair center. After 2 weeks of having the oven and not even removing one screw they said they couldn't find out about availability or price of a new touchpad.
Can these membranes be cleaned and rehabbed? Is there an outlet where I could buy a new one for this model? I can install it myself. Thanks.

Hi.
Unfortunately we do not carry parts for your brand. See if you can take it a part and remove the membrane flex connector from the control and clean it's edge with the isopropyl alcohol.
Check the internet for the brand name parts supplier.
Good luck.
Simon.
