I have a Kenmore Washer Model 417.43142200 with a slight leak of water coming from what appears the O-ring between the outer shells. (My goal was to replace this o-ring.) The problem that I having is trying to dis-connect the Bellows from the Front Cover. Is there two different models of Bellows? One being glued to the front and a newer models that is helded in place by a spring and wire like clamp. The question that I have; Is it necessary for me to cut out the glue on my old bellows and replace it with a newer spring clamp model; or re-install with glue? Does P/N 131277100 bellows come with the spring and clamp? Also I should ask due to the fact this machine is very close to 10 years of use should I be looking at a replacement washing machine verus the repair? Any information you have on this subject will be a great help.
