The dryer will power on but when the start button is pushed, the drum will not spin on its own. It makes a buzzing noise but if I bypass the door switch and start to turn the drum by hand and start it, it will spin and heat up but once it stops it wont start up on its own again. It spins much easier with no clothes in it but when I slowly added some the drum would stop turning. HELP PLEEEEASE!

Here are your parts
Parts for Whirlpool WED6200SW1 Dryer - AppliancePartsPros.com

Try turning the drum in the correct direction. It should turn fairly easily. You may want to try this on a couple other dryers to get a feel for it. Perhaps the drum is putting too much load on the motor.

Odds are that the above will be OK and that you need a new motor.

If this is the case I would not order one until after you have dismantled the unit. This will allow you to check other parts so you know what the full cost of the repair will be. You may as well do an overhaul on it.
Check the belt, rear support rollers, front support surface, internal seals, idler wheel etc.
Also remove the blower wheel before ordering, sometimes the wheel seizes to the motor shaft and has to be destroyed to get the motor out.

Give the unit interior a good cleaning.
Also it is a good time to check/clean your vent system.

What is the complete model number of the dryer?

What kind of information are you looking for?

Gene.
