How does one go about removing the coarse filter (WD22X10076) in order to clean beneath it? Once the lower arm, fine filter and hub nut are removed, the pan seems to be held in place by the Inlet Sump or something in that area. It is not attached at the front. Do I need to pull the whole D/W unit out and tackle this from underneath (as in loosen the sump clamp and drop the sump part in order to release the coarse filter pan?

Randy- After removing all the easy stuff (including the grate that snaps on top of the sump), I found that you reach inside the sump and get a hold on it and it comes up with a firm pull. Then the big pan is free to come out. The problem I keep having is food particles plugging the plumbing, mainly the wash arm holes, resulting in poor washing. I think it's caused by the large coarse grate (plastic in mine) not laying perfectly an allowing some particles to pass directly to the sump. Some models have stainless which wouldn't warp from the heat. Andy
