This is the second new ice maker (Thinking the first was bad) and it will not send power to the water valve. When the ice maker cycles around to the point where it should send power to the water valve I hear a click and see a spark in the ice maker, same as the first new ice maker. I'm thinking it is grounded some where however, I have checked the brown wire from the Ice Maker to the water valve for continuity, ok.

Anyone have any ideas?

You probably have a shorted wire to the water solenoid in the back. To fix this, I once ran a new wire down the drain and over to the water solenoid to fix a similar problem.

Thanks, I'll try that. The bad part is that this is my Ref. Wife thinks I will fix others stuff but not ours. Hope this works.
