My Whirlpool duet sport washer turns on but does not start the wash cycle. I have replaced the door lock switch but to no luck. Now I see that I probably have to replace the CCU or the MCU, not sure which one to do since they are both expensive parts. Any suggestions are welcomed and also where I can buy these parts at.
My model number is WFW8400TW03

My model number is WFW8400TW03 I would suggest removing the MCU first... i was able to see a small dark area where it shorted out. See if you can visibly see anything first... but that is my guess. I had big problems tracking this problem down because all the codes and symptoms suggested other problems, IE: door latch replaced unnecessarily. Keep up the reading and questions... Good Luck
